Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
1. What we collect
When you sign in with Google, we store your name, email address, and profile photo.
When you list a room, we store the details you provide: your name, phone number, city, rent amount, description, and any photos you upload. We also store the GPS coordinates you capture for the room's location.
When you use "near me" search, your device's current location is used to find nearby rooms. It is sent to your browser's location services and to our database only as part of that search — we don't build a history of your movements.
2. How your phone number is shown
Your phone number is visible in full only to users who are signed in. Signed-out visitors see a partially masked number and are prompted to sign in before calling.
3. Where data is stored
Data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore for listing/account data, Firebase Storage for photos), hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. Access is controlled by security rules that restrict who can read or change each piece of data.
4. What we don't do
- We don't sell your data to third parties.
- We don't show ads or share your data with advertisers.
- We don't currently run analytics or tracking scripts on this site.
5. Your choices
You can delete a room listing at any time from "My Listings." To request deletion of your account data entirely, contact us using the details on our About page.
6. Cookies & local storage
We use your browser's local storage only to keep you signed in between visits (via Firebase Authentication). We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
